Clear before charge
A paid activity must show its credit cost before it starts. Failed or unavailable provider sessions must not silently consume credit.
Usage-based speech
Recorded lesson examples are free to play and replay. Only Azure pronunciation assessment uses shared credits. The app shows your rate before you start; unsuccessful recognition does not debit credits. Small fractions accumulate and are deducted in hundredths of a credit.
